""Romance in the Outfield: Double Play" is a family-friendly romantic comedy. In the movie, twin siblings Tyler and Tiffany are on a quest to find the loves of their lives, but they need someone who is as passionate about Jesus Christ as they are. The production may not be the most polished in terms of technical aspects, but if you're used to Hallmark Channel movies with that "made for TV" feel, you won't be bothered by it. Despite the clichés of every romantic comedy, filmmakers Randolph and Rebecca Sternberg did an excellent job in building the characters - especially focusing on the religious side of the protagonists, which is not very common in the genre. Another surprise is actress Monica Moore Smith, who hasn't done many films yet, but made it clear that she has plenty of talent and delivered an engaging performance in "Romance in the Outfield: Double Play"."
