A journalist states in her weekly column the reasons why she does not want to have any children, defending her position on life and motherhood. But she will have to rethink her beliefs when she meets her new neighbor and his little daughter.
"Directed by Marcos Carnevale ('Elsa & Fred'), 'No soy tu mami' is an Argentine production with a central theme of enormous relevance to contemporary women, whose freedom of choice regarding romantic life and maternity is constantly questioned by traditional social pressures. This in itself puts it a bit above typical popular comedies, but it has to be said, the movie ultimately falls into some clichés as contradictory and paradoxical as the worries of its main character. Therefore, although it is well directed and entertaining, it is a production that is finally less subversive than it appears."
