The struggle to replace Freddie Mercury as Queen's frontman
Why watch the movie The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story?
"After the death of composer and vocalist Freddie Mercury, Queen was left without direction. Although all the musicians had above average quality, Freddie was the soul and face of the band. In 'The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story', a documentary by Christopher Bird (of 'Queen: Rock the World') and Simon Lupton (of 'Queen: From Rags to Rhapsody'), the viewer is invited to go behind the scenes of the band and understand a little more about Adam Lambert's replacement as Queen's vocalist. With archive footage and interviews, following a banal but interesting structure, the film shows a little more of the challenges and, without a doubt, will leave the band's fans excited to see some unseen images and the recreation of some of the group's classics."
