Join Princess Odette, Prince Derek and their royal friends as they set sail for another magical adventure in the enchanted land of Cathay! Princess Odette has been called by the beautiful Princess Mei Li who is planning to marry her one true love, Chen. Upon Odette’s arrival she quickly discovers that everything is not as it should be. And not everyone is WHO they should be! The evil sorceress Fang has once again cast an evil spell, launching a plan to marry Chen herself. In 'A Royal Wedding', the couple travels to China to help Princess Mei and her future husband, Chen, in this tenth movie of the saga. The animation focuses on Chinese culture and is great for kids. Despite being another story with a marriage in the background - which is a big cliché in princess stories -, the plot deviates from the traditional and puts women in focus, as the heroines. The message of 'The Swan Princess: A Royal Wedding' is that good always wins over evil and that female protagonists have a lot of courage, intelligence and define their own destinies."
