Trailer
Why watch the movie The Haunting of Alcatraz?
"Alcatraz is one of the most debated, idealized, and questioned prisons in the history of the penal system. After all, this American construction put prisoners in an inhospitable environment on the coast of California, USA, and made it almost impossible for them to escape or even rebel. It's no wonder that one of the few prison escapes ended up on the big screen in the acclaimed 'Escape from Alcatraz' with Clint Eastwood. Now, in this Steve Lawson horror (from the strange 'Hellriser' and 'KillerSaurus'), the viewer is invited to dive into a dark and supernatural plot around a guard from the night shift at Alcatraz. Massacred by critics and audiences, 'The Haunting of Alcatraz' is one of those horror films to let yourself be carried away by the bizarreness of the situation and laugh at the scares set up by the director. Watch it, don't take it too seriously and have a blast."
