For 30 years, John Shepherd devoted his life to this mission, which did not have the success he had hoped for, but along the way he learned great lessons - and how important it is to have contact with humans. The genius had a difficult childhood, his mother was absent, this being his first rejection, and he ended up being adopted by his grandparents. Shepherd transformed their house into a laboratory to be able to transmit musical messages into space. The short film, which could have been longer, shows John Shepherd's journey with his project, SETI - whose goal is the constant search for intelligent life in space."
