Nine ordinary people confront racism in their daily lives in São Paulo.
Trailer
Why watch the movie Dentro da Minha Pele?
"Brazil is a racist country. Despite many people denying it or even saying that it isn't, there is a structural racism that corrodes the country's foundations and seems to never stop advancing. It is this movement that the documentary 'Inside My Skin', by filmmakers Toni Venturi and Val Gomes, focuses on. Here, they analyze and reflect on testimonies of people who suffer or have suffered discrimination in their daily lives with different experiences. In this palette of colors, stories and experiences, 'Inside My Skin' goes beyond and succeeds in bringing the topic to the viewer's room, provoking and instigating a sharp reflection on everything that is happening or not happening. An essential and powerful film, urgent to think about #BlackLivesMatter beyond limits and standards."
