Why watch the movie Greed?
"Greed tells the story of British billionaire Richard McCreadie - said to be based on Arcadia Group retail company president Philip Green, whose company includes Topshop, Topman, Wallis, Evans, Burton, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins and Outfit - and watching the movie, it certainly feels real. The production satirizes the inequality present in the fashion industry and makes strong criticisms. Fast fashion stores have grown immensely worldwide and it's common to see in the media that many of them exploit workers. The movie explores this environment with a sarcastic tone, which works like a punch in the stomach - for who has never shopped in a fast fashion store should cast the first stone. Greed: The Fashion Industry knows how to trace the terrain it has set out to criticize very well and the cast managed to hit precisely the way to satirize eccentric millionaires, Steve Coogan, Isla Fisher and Asa Butterfield are great on screen. If you took the day to deconstruct the fashion industry, you've come to the right movie!"
