Why watch the movie The Quilters?
"The Quilters is a documentary that follows prisoners in a maximum-security prison in Missouri, USA, who spend their days knitting quilts for children in foster homes. The camera also captures their stories, hopes, and struggles behind bars, proud of the beauty they create with their time. While conventional in form, the documentary, like the drama Sing Sing, is a testimony to the possibility of redemption and social rehabilitation for criminals through creativity and compassion for others. A lot of inspiration packed into just half an hour of footage."
