"A Useful Ghost is a Thai supernatural comedy film, winner of the Grand Prix in the Critics' Week section at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Set in contemporary Thailand, the movie uses dark humor and irony to tell an eccentric story about people who, after dying, return as ghosts that possess household appliances like vacuum cleaners to be close to their loved ones, as seen in the main plot.
