Why watch the movie Shark Whisperer?
"Shark Whisperer is a documentary co-directed by James Reed (My Octopus Teacher) that partly aims to debunk one of the most deeply rooted myths about marine life, largely fueled by cinema: that sharks are ruthless killers. The documentary follows conservationist Ocean Ramsey and her unique – and risky – approach to shark awareness, featuring beautiful footage of her underwater interactions. However, the film also highlights criticism from detractors, as well as the noise from social media that drowns out truly important efforts. If you enjoy marine life documentaries that challenge your biases, you'll love this film."
