"Wimbledon is already a classic in both sports cinema and romantic films. The story follows a disillusioned British tennis player (Paul Bettany) who gets a wild card spot in the eponymous tournament, hoping it's his last competition before settling for a job as an instructor. However, during the tournament, he meets an up-and-coming young tennis player (Kirsten Dunst), whose interest inspires him to fight for glory once again. It's a film that satisfies both its sports and romantic aspects, and while not particularly innovative, the performances of its leads and their chemistry make it perfect for a movie night with your partner."
