Why watch the movie Simple Plan: The Kids in the Crowd?
"Simple Plan: The Kids In The Crowd is a music documentary that celebrates the history of Simple Plan, one of the most iconic pop rock and pop punk bands of the 2000s and 2010s. True to the formula of many others in its genre, the film compiles archival footage, recent interviews, and testimonies over the decades to tell the band’s journey, from their humble teenage beginnings to their eventual breakup and reunion. It won’t stand out from other documentaries of its kind, but it’s definitely something fans of the band or those who grew up or were teenagers in the 2000s should watch. Besides the band’s music, the production features appearances from contemporaries like Avril Lavigne and Blink-182."
