Now, in French cinema, there is the example of 'L'esprit de famille'. Mixing the premises of 'Seven Days Without End' and 'Family Album', the feature film follows the story of a family that reunites after the death of the patriarch. However, contrary to expectations, the deceased accompanies the entire reunion and comments on it with the eldest son, the protagonist of the feature. Although the humor does not work as expected, 'L'esprit de famille' manages to translate the roller coaster of emotions that is a family meeting and explores all its possibilities - sometimes, too many possibilities. There are no great moments here, nor inspiring sequences. But in the end, it's fun and makes us think about our own relationships and families. And that, without a doubt, is already enough."
