Why watch the movie The Reckoning?
"The Reckoning is a drama and psychological horror film by director Neil Marshall (The Descent). Set in the 17th century, shortly after the Great Plague, the story follows a young woman accused of witchcraft after the tragic suicide of her husband and rejecting the advances of her landlord. In prison, she must face harsh conditions while confronting the most relentless and prejudiced judge, all while trying not to lose her sanity. A satisfying film if you enjoy psychological horror or are interested in witch hunts and their misogynistic motivations."
