One hint, 6 chances, and a new movie to guess every day
From New Line Cinema and Zach Cregger, the wholly original mind behind Barbarian, comes a new horror/thriller: Weapons. When all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time, a community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.

"Weapons is a film by Zach Cregger, an actor and comedian who surprised the world with his directorial debut in horror with Barbarian. The plot presents a mystery that is sustained from start to finish: one night, precisely at 2:17 AM, 17 of the 18 children in teacher Justine Gandy's (Julia Garner) class wake up and run out of their homes into the darkness, never to be seen again. The event leaves the entire town with more anger and questions than answers, Justine as the only suspect, and the remaining child, Alex (Cary Christopher), in a precarious situation. The film unfolds with an episodic structure, showing different characters' perspectives on the events and their repercussions, slowly revealing the complexity of the mystery and its horrors. It's not a film that fits solely under the horror genre definition, but one that plays with many others, enriching the experience and making it one of the best films of 2025.
