"Dracula: A Love Tale is yet another adaptation of Bram Stoker's classic novel, from unauthorized adaptations like Nosferatu to authorized classics like Francis Ford Coppola's and the 1931 adaptation. In this version, French filmmaker Luc Besson (The Fifth Element) tries to breathe new life into the story by focusing primarily on the vampire's more romantic side, played hammy and functionally by Caleb Landry Jones. It's a fun film, with particular attention to detail in costumes and production design, truly immersing the viewer in the story. Perfect for those who love Stoker's book and never tire of watching different versions—remembering that Robert Eggers' Nosferatu already focuses more on this theme. Essentially, Dracula: A Love Tale is more of a recycling of ideas than something truly new and creative. After all, almost 100 years after the release of the first feature film, the question remains as to whether there is anything new to be learned from this story."
