Why watch the movie Salmon Fishing in the Yemen?
"Inspired by the epynomous novel by Paul Torday, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen is a romantic comedy about making the impossible possible. Directed by Lasse Hallström (Chocolat), the story follows the challenging work of a fisheries expert (Ewan McGregor) and a financial advisor (Emily Blunt), who try to fulfill the dream of a sheikh to introduce salmon fishing to Yemen—a project also aimed at improving relations between Britain and the Islamic world. Above all, it is a romantic film about two complex and initially incompatible people, one of those stories that warms the heart."
