Why watch the movie Mononoke the Movie: Chapter II - The Ashes of Rage?
"Mononoke The Movie: Chapter II - The Ashes of Rage is the second film in a trilogy that revives the famous anime series Mononoke (aired between 2007 and 2008), about a mysterious apothecary who travels seeking and confronting evil spirits. As a sequel, this film doesn’t need to spend much time explaining its world and rules. On one hand, this makes the plot a bit less complex and interesting, but on the other hand, it allows jumping straight into the excitement, offering a wonderful art direction that blends elements of traditional Japanese paintings and psychedelic imagery like few other productions. Even if you’re not a fan of the original series, visually it’s an impressive spectacle."
