Why watch the movie Leave One Day?
"Even if Leave One Day (Partir un Jour) is a lukewarm opening for Cannes 2025, Amélie Bonnin’s debut offers a curious twist by subverting the clichés of musicals and romantic comedies. Featuring iconic French songs performed in an intimate style and a protagonist far from glamorous stereotypes, the film carries a modest charm for those who enjoy simple stories with a touch of musical nostalgia."
