Trailer
Why watch the movie Colours of Time?
"The Colours of Time (La venue de l'avenir) is a French dramedy directed by Cédric Klapisch (Someone, Somewhere) with a unique premise: a group of complete strangers discover they are related when they inherit an old rural house, closed for years. As they take inventory of the possessions, they reflect on who their shared ancestor was—a woman who emigrated from Normandy to Paris in the late 19th century, during the Industrial Revolution. It’s a film that reflects on the passage of time, kinship, and the constant human search for belonging, regardless of the era."
