The documentary shows the struggle of the Brazilian scientist, doctors and students to continue their research in tropical diseases which kills many people from developing countries.
"A portrait of the struggle of scientists, doctors and postgraduates to complete their research on infectious and neglected diseases that affect Brazil and the world. A necessary documentary that manages to draw a parallel between the current political situation of the country and also due to the pandemic faced in 2020. 'Science of Resistance' was a project partially funded by the British institution One World Media and by a crowdfunding. The very way the film managed to come to life is a reflection of other sectors that do not have the necessary investment in Brazil."
