Why watch the movie 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple?
"As the first Black female filmmaker to debut at the top of the U.S. box office, Nia DaCosta (Candyman) returns with 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. The film is part of the apocalyptic universe conceived by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting) and Alex Garland (Ex Machina), now expanded with an even more impactful and modern visual style that explores the collapse of civilization decades after the initial outbreak. Boasting a powerhouse cast led by Ralph Fiennes (Conclave) and Jack O’Connell (Sinners), the production stands out for maintaining the raw aesthetic and psychological tension that revitalized the genre in the 2000s, especially through its terrifying portrayal of zombies. And for franchise fans, there is a surprise involving Cillian Murphy that makes it absolutely worth the watch!"
