"Although also directed by Mary Lambert, this 'Pet Sematary Two' sequel is not based on a Stephen King novel, unlike its predecessor. Furthermore, for obvious reasons, the characters from the first installment do not return for this second one, so aside from vague mentions of its events and the Creed family, there are few arguments to call it a legitimate sequel, besides the interest in taking advantage of the modest success of the title. This is a mediocre movie, but it was the second one made by young Edward Furlong after his debut in 'Terminator 2'. Fun, finally, for those interested in the career of the also protagonist of 'American History X' and 'Detroit Rock City'."
