Independent journalists fight to break Brazil's information blockade imposed by 6 families.
Trailer
Why watch the movie A Nossa Bandeira Jamais Será Vermelha?
"Selected for the Rio Festival, 'Our Flag Will Never Be Red' is one of the feature films that try to understand the political movements that have taken place in Brazil in recent years - such as 'Vertigo Democracy', 'Indianara' and 'Seeds'. Here, however, director Pablo López Guelli decides to focus on the work of the press. With a well-honed look and never hiding his side in this discussion, 'Our Flag Will Never Be Red' tries to take the look of political movements behind the newspaper offices and also amplify the need and importance of an independent media, outside the big news barons. Without a doubt, it is a necessary movie. But which, in the end, ends up talking within its own bubble and niche."
