"Sofia Coppola shines again with the script and direction of 'On the Rocks', a comedy about relationships, aging, and the father-daughter relationship. The filmmaker repeats her partnership with Bill Murray, who shows a better performance than in 'Lost in Translation', the same applies to the story. 'On the Rocks' discusses various themes and puts the female figure in the spotlight. We can say that Coppola made her most vulnerable and sensitive film, showing the internal conflicts of the modern woman - who is dealing with problems in marriage and in relation to her own identity. Rashida Jones is the protagonist and, as in almost all her films, she is impeccable, almost magnetic in her performance. Another positive point is the soundtrack, Sofia Coppola always hits the mark in this regard. 'On The Rocks' is a delicious comedy and quite charming."
