'Holidate' may not stray too far from this formula for success, but it manages to innovate and bring a certain freshness to the genre. The chemistry between Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey is almost enviable, especially when we think of a friendship between the opposite sex. The production is fun and very pleasant to watch. Roberts' character is very charismatic and makes a critique of the pressure that single women feel - usually because of family and society that preach that happiness is linked to a relationship. If you are looking for something light to watch and use as a distraction from what is happening in the world, it is worth checking out."
