"Interesting documentary, 'Vilas: Serás lo que debas ser o no serás nada' fits perfectly into the "nationalist" genre. After all, in this plot, director Matias Gueilburt (of 'Antes de que nos olviden') follows the journey of an Argentine journalist who tries to prove that his compatriot, tennis player Guillermo Villas, had the position of No. 1 in the world unjustly denied in the 1970s. Without hiding his partisanship and how he avoids some of the issues raised, the feature film ends up being a dive into the career of this athlete and, mainly, by showing how sports organizations are also notably taken to support certain nations or teams. A denunciation movie, which only loses points for the lack of some questions. Sports fans, without a doubt, will be interested."
