"Who said India doesn't make horror movies? 'Kaali Khuhi', which carries the exclusive Netflix seal, is a good example. Directed by first-time filmmaker Terrie Samundra, the feature film follows an Indian village haunted by a spirit from the past. Thus, mixing India's ancestral traditions with a typical American horror tone, the movie brings up some interesting questions for reflection while also ensuring some good scares. It's not really inventive nor does it have a quality to be highlighted. However, in any case, it's valid to embark on the journey of such a mundane, yet so own and particular Indian horror movie."
