After the sudden death of her estranged father, Michi, a young mother and dry alcoholic, decides to stay in the inherited summer house for a few days with her young daughter Hanna, hoping to regain the motherly trust she lost. Soon, long repressed memories of her childhood and her mother's suicide begin to haunt Michi. Trying to numb herself with alcohol again only and accelerates Michi's paranoid state, which drives Hanna further away. When her demons start to threaten her daughter, Michi must confront them to save Hanna.
