Once told they'd save the universe during a time-traveling adventure, 2 would-be rockers from San Dimas, California find themselves as middle-aged dads still trying to crank out a hit song and fulfill their destiny.
"After two films in 1989 and 1991, the 'Bill & Ted' franchise had been stagnant for nearly three decades. The return came only in 2020 with 'Bill & Ted Face The Music', a feature film that marks the return of Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter as Ted and Bill, two friends frustrated with middle age and for not having written the best song of all time. Here, however, director Dean Parisot ('RED 2', 'Galaxy Quest') plays with time travel to put these two friends in the position of composers of the music that can save the world. There are some confusions in the script, as well as some narrative complications that didn't need to exist. But 'Bill & Ted' fans can have fun and be moved by the return of this duo on an adventure to pass the time."
