Why watch the movie Stargirl?
"The protagonist played by actress and singer Grace VanderWaal won the 11th season of the reality show 'America's Got Talent' at only 12 years old. She enchanted the internet with her musical abilities and now she is the star of one of Disney's movies. VanderWaal seems to have been born for this role and it is very clear in the production, since she delivers a very natural performance. Another highlight is Graham Verchere, who also surprises in the movie. 'Stargirl' tells a beautiful, magical and music-filled story. The screenplay is based on the novel 'Stargirl' by author Jerry Spinelli."
