Why watch the movie Saudade Mundão?
"Strong, urgent and necessary documentary, 'Saudade Mundão' is one of those movies that know how to address a delicate topic: incarceration. Here, in this film directed by Julia Hannud and Catharina Scarpellini, the viewer is invited to enter the life and story of five incarcerated women who, in some way, reflect the reality of an unequal social system. Thus, the documentary follows the day-to-day of these lives and proposes a reflection on the complexity and contradiction of the prison system, giving voice to this forgotten reality. Important Brazilian movie, made to reflect."
