Trailer
Why watch the movie Spread Your Wings?
"The Senegalese filmmaker Nicolas Vanier has been taking advantage of themes such as friendship and nature to compose the stories of his films, such as the striking 'Belle and Sebastian' and the cute 'Loup'. Now, in 'Donne-moi des ailes', the filmmaker returns to revisit these dear themes by telling the true story of a scientist who decides to embark on a journey, alongside his son, to save birds from the risk of extinction. With a striking performance by the protagonist Jean-Paul Rouve ('Piaf: A Hymn to Love'), the feature film is perfectly emotional and brings an inspiring story that leaves anyone on the verge of tears, largely due to the honesty of the father-son relationship. A movie to be carried away."
