Why watch the movie Kakegurui: The Movie?
"Inspired by the famous manga of the same name, 'Eiga: Kakegurui' tells the story of an institute that helps develop gambling skills. With a script full of twists and turns, common in East Asian productions, this movie dives into the culture of betting in a different way - showing another side of it. It is common in movies to see how gambling can be harmful, and encountering a feature film that explores an academy that encourages it is both surprising and shocking - in a negative and positive way. Nevertheless, it is important to emphasize that 'Eiga: Kakegurui' does not encourage the viewer to enter this world. Special mention to the performances of Jabami Yumeko and Minami Hamabe."
