The difference here, in this Netflix exclusive production directed by Stephen Chiodo (from the obscure 'Killer Klowns from Outer Space'), is the hilarity of putting an alien as a backwards Santa Claus. Despite the simple visuals of the animation, bordering on simplistic at times, laughter still arises from such simple situations, but which manages to bring out the best of the Christmas spirit.
