"Nothing of Santa Claus, reindeer, presents and "Jingle Bells" in this German comedy thriller. In 'Wir können nicht anders', as the name itself says, it is a celebration of the end-of-year festivities with lots of shooting, fighting and bombs. More specifically, the feature film is about the story of a man who, almost without wanting to, prevents a murder from happening on Christmas night. After that, just like a 'Die Hard', we follow this protagonist doing everything to survive in a hostile environment on Christmas Eve. It's not a really original or memorable movie -- although director Detlev Buck reverses some genre clichés with intelligence. It's just another movie to get into the proposal, with all the adrenaline and acidic humor that comes along with the plot."
