"What a fun and unpretentious movie 'The Jackal' is, a gem of action cinema from the late 1990s. Starring unlikely duo Richard Gere and Bruce Willis, the feature film mixes traditional action sequences, an investigation story and good plot twists that range from political conspiracy to car chase. There is a certain instability in what is told, with a rather clumsy direction by Michael Caton-Jones (‘Wild Things 2’). However, the good performances and an interesting pace of the story help make the production a good action pastime."
