Mi-Jung is a rookie film director and she has been preparing a horror film for the past 8 years. One day, Mi-Jung hears about a movie which was banned. Mi-Jung wants to know about the film. She begins to search for the movie. Her search takes her to meet Jae-Hyun (Jin Seon-Kyu), who is the director of the film. Jae-Hyun warns Mi-Jung to forget about his film, but she ignores his warning. Mi-Jung's obsession with the movie leads her to bizarre and horrible cases.

"From South Korean director Kim Jin-won, 'Presencias malditas' is a movie that delves into a well-known resource in horror cinema: urban legends about cursed movies or images, capable of condemning to death anyone who watches them (something like 'The Ring'). However, the originality of this proposal lies in approaching the story not only from horror but also from the angle of suspense, providing freshness to the already exploited "found footage" movie resource (like in 'The Blair Witch Project'). A South Korean horror bet that, although it does not redefine the genre, is solid and entertaining."
