In the near future, George Almore is working on a true human-equivalent AI. His latest prototype is almost ready. This sensitive phase is also the riskiest. Especially as he has a goal that must be hidden at all costs.
"Interesting science fiction that generated debates and important reflections. After all, in 'Archive', director Gavin Rothery ('The Last Man') talks about grief, loss and loneliness when telling the story of a man who is developing an increasingly human-like artificial intelligence -- with points of reflection and even its own opinions. Thus, 'Archive' gains strength when this protagonist (Theo James) tries to put the consciousness of his deceased wife into this new creation. Although it doesn't come close to an 'Ex Machina', for example, this science fiction proves competent in bringing reflections on the new times while also embedding a good discussion about the grieving process. There are loose ends, but the intense ending compensates even demanding viewers."
