As the plot evolves - to an even more intense generational trauma - you expect the ending to be cathartic, but ends up disappointing with its predictability. However, the performances of Omari Hardwick and Loretta Devine elevate this suspense in an absurd way, making the time spent on this production worth it. Devine, especially, steals scenes and makes her character venomous and malicious."
