Academy Award-nominated director Amy Berg takes an inside look at the struggle for intersectional activism among the Women's March leadership.
Why watch the movie This is personal?
"When Donald Trump became President of the United States, groups advocating for gender equality and human rights were thrown into shock. What would the scenario be like for these people with a conservative, even fascist-leaning government in power? 'This is Personal', Netflix's new original documentary, seeks to analyze just one of these points: what was behind the Women's March, which mobilized millions of people to protest after President Trump's inauguration. Thus, filmmaker Amy Berg analyzes the struggle for intersectional activism among the leaders and the importance of such movements."
