Why watch the movie Colombia In My Arms?
"The conflict between the FARC and the Colombian government has always been in the Latin American news and brought worries about the present and future of Colombia. It is precisely this concern, and a good discussion about the almost artificial peace that exists today in the country, that the documentary 'Colombia was Ours' focuses on. Thus, following real characters and analyzing the situation of the country as a whole, the documentary reflects the human condition on a universal level, showing the fragility of everything around us. Special mention to the direction of the duo Jenni Kivistö and Jussi Rastas, who show courage in showing all sides of this dense and controversial topic."
