The Darling family children receive a visit from Peter Pan, who takes them to Never Never Land where an ongoing war with the evil Pirate Captain Hook is taking place.
"The story of the boy who never grew up has already had a series of adaptations in the movies, from the classic Walt Disney Pictures ludic animation, to denser films (like 'Wendy') and even live-actions that try to reproduce the magic of the plot with real actors. This is the case of 'Peter Pan', from 2003, by P.J. Hogan ('Muriel's Wedding'). A film that is part of the affective imagination of many people born in the 1990s and 2000s, the production brings a grandiose production, with impressive special effects for the time, to give a new breath of creativity in Peter Pan's journey. It's not incredible, nor as magical as the Disney movie. However, Jeremy Sumpter is still a good choice as Peter Pan, in a movie full of magic."
