Why watch the movie Renovation of the Heart?
"Reminiscent of the general idea of 'The Money Pit', the feature film 'Renovation of the Heart' shows the challenges of renovating a house - and the troubles that arise from it. Here, more specifically, filmmaker Sandra L. Martin ('A Date with Destiny', 'How to Train Your Husband') uses her experience in romantic comedies to tell the story of a couple in trouble. After all, they are drowning in debt and need to sell the wife's inherited house to get their finances in order. From there comes this house renovation plot, which becomes the only way out to get the money. Martin's direction is on autopilot, repeating the formulas seen in her other films. However, those looking for just a banal distraction in everyday life, with hints of romance, will pass the time without distractions."
