"Following a new line of horror films, 'Relic' brings a different story and gives a necessary refreshment to the genre, which is well saturated. In the plot, three generations - grandmother, mother and daughter - are haunted by the consequences of an illness, which is affecting the oldest of them. The film is not horror for horror's sake, it goes further bringing an allegory about what we carry from our relatives, our heredity and what comes with it. This narrative is slow, somewhat confusing from the middle to the end, but it does not lose its purpose of showing why these women are so connected. The ending is, without a doubt, one of the great moments of the narrative."
