In 1961, a young aspiring actor tries to reunite with a French dancer whom he loves after being separated by the construction of the Berlin Wall.
""Factory of Dreams" is a German romantic melodrama set in the 1960s, directed by Martin Schreier. A romantic movie that takes us to Berlin, at the beginning of the 60s, to the mythical Babelsberg Film Studios, a place where masterpieces of cinema such as "Nosferatu", "Metropolis" and "The Blue Angel" were created in its golden age. Many stars went through the sets of this "German Hollywood" that changed the flowers of its factory for the dreams of celluloid. There Emil, an extra in the famous Babelsberg Film Studios, falls in love with Milou, a dancer who also works on the shoot of a blockbuster. When he finally manages to conquer her, the shoot is suddenly canceled and they are forced to separate, since the Berlin Wall is erected in August of that same year. Now Emil will draw up a daring and risky plan to make the filming continue and reunite with his love. So sweet, it's not suitable for diabetics."
