From the Heart

"Replace 'Siga Seu Coração' with 'From the Heart'. Translation for the following text: A movie that blends the vibe of Hallmark productions with any book written by Nicholas Sparks, but with a curious twist: the inclusion of Amish culture, an ultraconservative Christian Anabaptist religious group. After all, the story of 'From the Heart' tells the story of Kathy, a young woman who leaves the Amish community behind to become a travel guide writer. However, she has to go back home to resolve some pending family matters -- and that's when she reunites with an old love. Even though director Sandra L. Martin avoids it, the religious issue ends up overflowing and sharing space with the romance on the screen. You have to like both topics to fully dive into the movie's story."
