The White Devil

"Part of the wave of good contemporary horror films from Latin America, 'El Diablo Blanco' emulates the essence of slasher stories to tell the journey of a group of friends who, on a trip, begin to be pursued by a malicious entity. Director Ignacio Rogers brings his experience as an actor to the film to explore the physicality of the situations and increasing the sense of desperation of the audience -- the desire to stand up and warn the characters of what is happening is real. Too bad the story dives into some obviousness and can't surprise as it could. Not to mention some characters that are so stupid they make you angry. But those who want a good Latin horror, to escape the monotony of the North American cinema genre, can have fun with a cohesive, violent and with good developments story."
