Chinese climbers face life and death decisions on perilous journey to summit Everest
Trailer
Why watch the movie The Climbers?
"Dangerous climbs have been depicted numerous times on the big screen, such as in Everest, Free Solo and Meru. However, Chinese director Daniel Lee (Elite Agents) focuses on a subject rarely seen on the big screen: the north face of Everest. In Pan deng zhe, we follow Chinese climbers who, for the first time, climb Mount Everest from the north face, known as the most challenging side of the mountain. With increasing tension, the film is one of those accurate entertainments for those who like plots that explore the struggle between men and wild nature, with the added bonus of being based on a breathtaking true story. Thus, Pan deng zhe is worth it not only for its good production, but also to know more about this so unusual and dangerous real story."
